St. Mark Preschool is a Christian preschool which

Registration for current and previously enrolled families is Thursday, January 19 at 8:00 A.M. 

Registration for the public, new to our program, is Thursday, February 2 at 8:00 A.M.



A 10% discount is given to families that are members of
St. Mark Lutheran Church.

  1. Complete the Preschool Registration form.
  2. Attach payment for the nonrefundable Registration Fee in the amount specified.
  3. Return to the Preschool Office.

    Your canceled check serves as your receipt. All children are required to have a completed Physical Form and Lead Risk Assessment prior to the start of school. If and when all classes fill, we will start a waiting list for each type of class requested.For all classes, the student/teacher ratio is one teacher for every 10 students for a maximum of 20 students. If all the classes fill up, we would consider opening up additional classes.These would be additional afternoon classes.We will maintain an up to date waiting list.When an opening occurs, the next person on the list will be notified of the opening.     Accreditation and Licensing

    Staff members are carefully selected, undergo continual training and are supervised in compliance with licensing standards.

    In addition to extensive experience in the field of education for young children, each of the teachers of St. Mark Preschool holds an academic degree in early childhood education, child development or a related discipline.  Our classes are taught by 2 teachers - we do not have aides.

    The St. Mark Preschool is in strong compliance with criteria of the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and is licensed to operate by the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) of the State of Illinois
