Thank you for your interest in joining our St. Mark Lutheran Church staff this summer as our Summer Intern! We are fortunate as a congregation to provide this wonderful opportunity for our young adults in college. This program is designed to enhance leadership and professional skills of the individual as well as to serve, in a meaningful way, our ministry at St. Mark. Certainly, you will mature in your faith, grow as an individual, and learn to celebrate the joys of serving Gods people.

Description of Summer Intern Position

Please consider a few details before applying.
- The position is financed by a trust that enables St. Mark to offer such an important program. The Summer Intern will receive a stipend salary.
- This position will relate significantly to the youth ministry of St. Mark. However, the Intern will be strongly encouraged to participate in other areas of ministry within the congregation. Thus, young adults interested in a variety of backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Applications will be accepted from any St. Mark member entering their second through fourth year of college.
- The Summer Intern will be expected to participate in summer mission trips and/or Boundary Waters canoe trips. Travel, lodging, and most meals will be covered as related expenses for these trips. The Summer Intern will have a significant opportunity to assist in the leadership and implementation of these events.
- The Summer Intern must be available to work various hours on weekends and weeknights as well as weekdays. Some flexibility will be required upon occasion.
